Being a Pag-IBIG member, it is necessary to not only pay your contributions but also check if they’re actually remitted to the Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) or Pag-IBIG Fund. This article will teach you how to check your Pag-IBIG contributions online.

We all know that checking your records regularly and making payments for loans or savings can be a hassle, especially if hate lining up in long queues in a Pag-IBIG office along with the humid weather here in the Philippines.

Fortunately, Pag-IBIG has newly launched Virtual Pag-IBIG which now allows its members to process all their transactions and check their records online. In this feature, I will show you different ways to use Virtual Pag-IBIG–and how they can make your life easier as a Pag-IBIG member.

WHAT IS VIRTUAL PAG-IBIG?

Virtual Pag-IBIG is an online portal where members can connect to their Pag-IBIG accounts, analyze their records, and pay for their loans or contributions. As might be expected, it is a useful and safe way to do Pag-IBIG transactions. Launched on Dec. 12, 2019, by Pag-IBIG personnel, this online portal also has a chat function where a customer service agent will pop up if you have questions or inquiries about your account.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR PAG-IBIG CONTRIBUTIONS ONLINE?

You might be wondering how you can check your Pag-IBIG contributions online especially if you’re abroad and find it hard to make a way in containing your contributions.

Luckily, the Pag-IBIG online contribution verification system is now available only to Filipinos working abroad. There are different convenient ways for you to check your contributions if you’re not an Overseas Filipino worker (OFW)

Regardless of the method you choose, you are obliged to prepare the following details that they will be asking in confirming your identity:

• Surname, first name, and middle name
• Birthdate
• Pag-IBIG MID number/RTN
• Mother’s maiden name
• Current and previous employers

There are three (3) ways to check your Pag-IBIG contributions online. These are through:

• Email Inquiry
• Pag-IBIG Fund Facebook Page
• Virtual Pag-IBIG

EMAIL INQUIRY

You can ask or send questions regarding contribution-related and personal information at the email address of the Pag-IBIG fund (contactus@pagibigfund.gov.ph) along with a clear image of your valid ID. It usually takes around three working days for the page to respond to a PM.

PAG-IBIG FUND FACEBOOK PAGE

Just look for the legit Facebook Page of the Pag-IBIG Fund and ask or send a personal message. Take note that it’s not safe to post a comment, as this will reveal your confidential information to other Facebook users. It usually takes around three working days for the page to respond to a PM.

VIRTUAL PAG-IBIG

Through the newly launched Virtual Pag-IBIG, you can now check your Pag-IBIG Regular or MP2 contributions online. The Virtual Pag-IBIG is an online portal where members can complete transactions–including paying and checking contributions–without leaving the comforts of their own homes. Just simply make a Virtual Pag-IBIG account and then follow the instructions here to get and see your updated member records or contributions.

HOW TO VIEW PAG-IBIG CONTRIBUTIONS/SAVINGS RECORDS?

STEP 1: LOG IN TO YOUR VIRTUAL PAG-IBIG ACCOUNT

If you don’t have a Pag-IBIG account, here’s a quick guide to creating a Virtual Pag-IBIG Account:

For existing Pag-IBIG members:

Creating a Virtual Pag-IBIG Account is an easy and quick task. You just have to make sure that you’re providing the correct information and get your phone and email ready for a quick verification process.

1. Go to the Virtual Pag-IBIG website.
2. Click ‘Login’ or Create Account.
3. Click the ‘Create Account’ button.
4. After that, click the “Create your account online and activate at the nearest Pag-IBIG Fund Branch” button.
5. You must provide the following information:

• Pag-IBIG Fund membership ID number (MID No.)
• Complete name
• Date of birth
• Mobile phone number

6. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your phone. Enter the code.
7. Provide the following details:

• Mother’s maiden name
• Place of birth
• Email address
• Three security questions and answers for easier password retrieval

8. Upload a photo of your passport or 2 primary valid IDs
9. Upload a picture of yourself while showing any 1 valid ID
10. You will then receive a text confirmation that you have successfully created a Virtual Pag-IBIG account
11. Go to your preferred Pag-IBIG branch and activate your account within 7 days.

For members with Loyalty Card Plus:

The Loyalty Card Plus is a cash card, discount card, and rewards card coiled into one. You can use it to get discounts and rewards when you pay your bills and also as a cash card to receive your Pag-IBIG loans, MP2 dividends, and others. Here’s how to create a Virtual Pag-IBIG account using the loyalty card:

1. Go to the Virtual Pag-IBIG website
2. Click “Log In or Create Account”
3. Click the “Create Account” button
4. Mark the “Via Your Loyalty Card Plus” option and click the “Click Here” button
5. Provide the following information:

• Pag-IBIG Fund membership ID number (MID No.)
• Loyalty Card Plus bank issuer
• The last 4 digits of your card number (found on the reverse side of the Loyalty Card Plus)

6. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your phone. Enter the code.
7. Provide some more details:

• Email Address
• Three security questions and answers for easier password retrieval

8. A confirmation and a temporary password will be sent to you via email
9. Create your new password and start analyzing the website

For OFW members

There’s a different process for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) when it comes to creating an account. You also need to provide correct information for a quicker and easier process.

1. Go to the Virtual Pag-IBIG website
2. Click ‘Login’ or ‘Create Account’
3. Click the ‘Create Account’ button
4. Mark the ‘Account Creation for OFWs’ option and click the ‘Click Here’ button
5. Provide the following information:

• Pag-IBIG Fund membership ID number (MID No.)
• Complete name
• Date of birth
• Philippine mobile phone number

6. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your phone. Enter the code.
7. Provide some more details:

• Country of assignment
• Mother’s maiden name
• Place of birth
• Email address
• Three security questions and answers for easier password retrieval

8. Upload a photo of your passport or 2 primary valid IDs
9. Upload a picture of yourself while showing any 1 valid ID
10. You will receive a text confirmation that you have successfully created a Virtual Pag-IBIG account
11. Expect your account to be activated within 3 days

STEP 2: UNDER PRODUCTS, CLICK ‘REGULAR SAVINGS’ OR ‘MP2 SAVINGS’.

STEP 3: YOUR UPDATED RECORD WILL BE DISPLAYED. YOU ALSO HAVE THE OPTION TO VIEW YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS/PAYMENTS FOR EACH YEAR.

STEP 4: YOU CAN PRINT A COPY OF YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE (OPTIONAL)

And that’s how you can check your Pag-IBIG contributions online with just simple clicks on your online devices. And the good thing is you don’t have to leave the comfort in your home.
